Frank + Meiji – Wedding
Frank and Meiji’s two-state wedding was a dream.
It started with a Vietnamese tea ceremony at Frank’s aunts house in the woods of New Jersey. The home was warm; a house built by his uncle. Cacti in sunrooms with views of the river through the windows.
Frank had to complete challenges set out by the bridesmaids including raising money and a Taylor Swift dance off.
This groom went beyond expectations.
Though they live in North Carolina, they went back to Frank’s home state.
And although Meiji was raised here in the U.S., they wanted to honor her culture as a sign of respect and to ask a blessing of their parents.
This is what it looks like to honor home.

Things to note:
Her happy tears.
His pocket watch.

It was always an intersection of two things. A bridge. A crossover. A blending. This is a marriage.
