Galang & Tiffany Engagement + BTS Bonus!
These world travelers are darlins.
Galang and Tiffany met on a ski trip and have been on many mountaintop adventures since then, collecting memories and matching trinkets along the way (what’s up matching bracelets!)
It’s because of their go-getter spirits that an urban meets gritty & gentrified location for their engagement shoot worked well.
We met at Samovar tea in the Mission District in San Francisco (it’s my hood!) and then found charming (read: smelt like poo but had mega character) alleys and neutral walls (because #whitespace obvi).
They were gracious enough to let me have my favorite travel buddy and budding videographer Joseph film while we were shooting so that you could get a more inside scoop of what the vibes of an engagement shoot are like. I feel like this will add value to not only other photographers (always have a joke in your back pocket and also super cheesy directions are always ok!) but also to couples who don’t typically have a camera on them (we are all not Kardashians). However, Galang & Tiffany didn’t seem new to this at all and were absolute rockstars and worked that smize like they’d been practicing.
Also, Tiffany was my first bride to dive into my Ethical Weddings project where she donated $500 to a charity of her choice and I matched it with a $500 discount off my wedding packages. It made me squeal an elementary-schoolgirl-who-just-got-the-latest-Lisa-Frank-notepad kind of squeal being reassured that couples want to do good with their wedding day.
I can’t wait for their August wedding.
Yes to more street dancing and good vibes.
