Austin had the ring for a while.
He kept asking Candace to go on a walk.
Logistically she had many reasons not to, weather, timing, etc.
He finally was able to score some alone time with her as they walked toward the boats.
He said, “I have a gift for you but it comes with a question.”
(Candace’s inner thoughts at this time were, “Are we going to Hawaii again!?”)
“I want to spend the rest of my life with you,” Austin continued. “Will you marry me?”

A few weeks later, the three of us returned to the pier where he asked her this life altering question. A location where she said, “Yes, yes, and yes.”
