Mark instead had a whole evening planned along the Embarcadero in San Francisco.
He picked her up from work in the financial district. They strolled east toward the water where I and my camera were waiting for them at Pier 6 (and an after party filled with their friends and loved ones at a bar not too far away).
Sally changed to heels.
He walked her closer to the pier.
She didn’t want to go because heels and gaps in the ground don’t mix well.
He insisted they walked down.
It was then she knew something was up.
“Are you going to propose?!”
