Generosity Day – Portraits of SF
On Valentine’s Day (which I like to call Generosity Day) I decided to take it to the streets of San Francisco, offering free portraits. Many exchanged their portraits for stories of their love. I was able to meet a ton of characters, truly incredible people. See their stories below!
“We’ve been together for a year and fourteen months,” she said.
“Hmmm?” he lovingly nudged.
“Oh, I mean a year and two months!”
– Jordan and Monica
“I do cross-fit!”
“We just moved downtown and are going bike exploring around the city.”
-Gurjit and Anika
Smiling she says, “We haven’t been together that long.” He looks at her. He smiles. She laughs. They kiss.
– Eric and Kate
“We have an Adventure List: places we want to see, restaurants we want to try out. It’s on an Excel spreadsheet. We are explorers with Type A personalities.” – Lisa and Tim
Sophia received ice cream as her reward for being perfect in front of the camera! Blue and green ice cream to be exact.
I was taking portraits of Marissa when this random guy passing by decided it didn’t need to be a solo photo, much to Marissa’s surprised. She improvised and rolled with it!
